2x JL Audio 6.5" 8OHM subwoofers!
Hi all!
I have TWO JL Audio 6W3v3-8 for sale. Amazing sound and thump! Brand new! In box! Only tested in vehicle! These are near impossible to find! They are 6.5" speakers and 8ohm, which is the impedance REQUIRED by our OEM Mark Levinson amp for all the cabin speakers. They are great speakers and work with the system without putting additional drain on the ML amp, therefore no fear of burning the amp out. I purchased these speakers with the intent to install but noticed one thing during the test fit, that the magnet it too deep and thus I would need to modify the OEM speaker grill. I am not ready to trim the speaker grill and therefore will not be using them. I purchased the set for $320 + tax + shipping, but would let them for for $315 + shipping (negotiable).
If you are interested with the intent to install in the doors, please let me again mention that these speakers will need modification (including a 3/4" speaker ring, 6x9 to 6.5" adapter, and modifying the OEM speaker grill). I wanted to keep my interior looking stock and thus REFUSE to alter the speaker grill, thus have no need for these speakers. MrBlister (Mark) has modified his speaker grill and thus using these speakers would require a similar modification (see links below). Additionally, these could also be modified to fit in the rear seats either to replace or supplement the weak rear speakers in the SC430.
