Default FS: OEM SC430 Wood Shifter ****

I'm willing to let this go for $30 shipped.

I have a brand new SC430 shifter **** for sale. This normally goes for $350+ at the dealerships.

It's perfect (on SC, GS, LS, ES, and even IS) and if I didn't need the money it'd be in my car right now.

PM me if interested.

If I had the time....I would strip the current finish and dye it dark walnut/burlwood/cherry color...then slap on a shiny wood enamel/varathane coat.

My only concern would be removing the bottom chrome trim before stripping.

Brendan - is this SC430 **** too long for the GS? Can it be tightened all the way down? How long (in inches) is this ****?

Pete

Pete - I put it next to mine and it looks exactly the same as in size. Yes, it also can be tightened all the way down.

That SC430 **** base is all the way down to the shift plate. Will it scrape?

You don't have to screw it down that far. That pic is from kyle3841's car. I did not screw mine down as far. It is still in pretty tight and I have not had any problems. It will just sit a little higher.

I used some teflon tapes and it's tight all the way down about 1/8" above the shift plate.

LOL, I was thinking about getting it dyed -- but that plans out because I'm broke

Here's a novel idea...post this ad in the SC Classified sections....maybe that'll help it move.
