I am not surprised at the price holding up very well on nice sc430”s

at the same time the low miles seem to be an indicator of either extreme money to park a nice car OR that it drove poorly?

my 08 had 18k miles on it whe we acquired it 5 years ago. Drove terrible. Wandered all over the road. Tires noisy. Deflected on every bump. Bottomed on dips. Leaned on corners like a barge. Brakes not progressive.

stereo was a yawner. But possible. yellow headlight low beams. Not macho styling. numb throttle response in the pedal setup.

no wonder a lot of these were not driven.

the couple that sold this one to us wife preferred riding on the back of their Harley three wheeler instead. Her choice.

Every single thing was fixable for an application of cash.

Have not done the blitz type throttle hookup yet. I have one. Just requires standing on the throttle to get it to “go”

we are now at 40k miles.

my opinion is that unless modded most low mile sc’s will remain low miles. Not that much fun to drive especially if you push it harder.

the scrounging of a luxlink from here back then started me on modding the rest.

bet I could get near $40k if I sold it and demoed it. But I sold a lot of nice cars long ago as a top Chevy salesman.

the car HAS to demo PERFECTLY. And be spotless. Not a mark. Paint touch up or repaint. Perfect windshield. Near new tires.

that kind of stuff. Ceramic coated. Or a PB as they appear to have more clear coat.
