Mike, I talked to Paul myself, and he only sells the chromed ones, just like Ebay and everybody else.
Apparently the only source for the silver ones is Lexus, but at $500+; that's what I'll pay for chrome exchange WITH star caps. It was reported that both the Lexus brand and star reproductions are made in Taiwan. Chrome quality of the latter is supposedly first rate.
Looks like I'll have to do the chrome exchange right away; wanted to wait for new tires. Paul offers that for $480, but he never returned my call to advise on the shipping or a local dealer. I'm a little weary on these deals, so I'll wait until somebody else can provide a solid reference; they ask for $480+$1,200+shipping in advance (chrome+core charge), after all.

Can someone post some pics of an SC430 with the new chrome wheelcaps? I've seen pics of the caps but never on the car.

I was thinking about going for 20" Magnifiques and lowering the car but may cheap out and do the cap swap....
