Default DVD/NAV wiring short

Guys,
My Nav system keeps flickering from working to showing dvd in progress. Noticed it would be working until I hit a bump in the road or corner sharp. Well had the top down for all day and it works perfect. Put the top up, and it goes back to working intermittently. My though5 is I have a shirt somewhere in the wiring harness that is affected by having the top up or down.
Does anybody know where the wiring harness goes through or have experience in where to look for a pinched wire?

The DVD player is in the trunk. There is a fairly common problem of the DVD player having issues, often it is the motor giving out. However, you might try opening it up and removing the DVD, clean the DVD and possibly run a DVD cleaner disk in the player for a bit. While I don't expect either of those to rectify your problem, it is a cheap thing to try. If you do a search, you'll find some of the NAV player threads and what other folks have done to resolve their problems.

Thanks. Done all that. I’m 90% sure is a short in the wiring and was wondering if anyone has had that issue.

The DVD harness goes from the back to the front via the floor. To assess you will have to remove the back seat, and the side panels. BGW has installed the mic and replaced the ML. He can help.
Try this one in the mean time

I don't remember seeing shorts in the NAV wiring before but it could have. Has your car been flooded or had water leaks?
