Antenna up or down while playing CD's
 

Just curious. When the head unit is on, my antenna is up. Just think it is unnecessary if you are playing a CD or tape. Thanks.

Antenna only should be up when you're in FM or AM, otherwise it retracts. I personally disconnected mines since installing the Pioneer head unit. Makes the car look very dated

I believe that the antenna position while the CD or tape is playing is a C-best setting. So you can change it.
