Default Radio Question

Is there any way to set the radio on the FM setting without raising the antenna? I have bought a ROAV Smart Car Charger F2 which streams music from my ipad thru the SC sound system..

I don't believe there is a fuse for the antenna. You would need to physically unplug the power to the motor. I use a Bluetooth module that interacts via the disk button for streaming but I have also thought about disconnecting mine.

I installed a generic manual (mazda} power antenna switch in the console to raise and lower the mast at will. Works great.

I believe that there is a C best setting to keep the antenna down when the CD or tape is playing but I'm not positive.

I'm pretty sure when you play cd/tape antennae doesn't go up.

Yes that is correct. But with this new Bluetooth FM modulator you have to be using the FM setting.

No, there is a setting for that. Mine still goes up for the CD player, or at least it did while my CD player still worked, which it no longer does. A lot of folks have that feature turned off. (I should do that someday.)

Harold

My Antennae does not go up when I use my CD player which works great filled with 6 cd's. So someone must have turned it off. Now with the Bluetooth FM device I will just use the iPad for my music not cd's.
