I’m still a bit disappointed in the soft top....but I could get used to it.

I still think that there are enough similarities to the SC430 in the looks category that there is no way to justify the upgrade. Even if I had that kind of money laying around. But that's just me.

The SC's hard top fits into the overall shape of the car. The soft top looks like an afterthought.

Soft top does not look good at all. What’s a waste for a beautiful car.

It should have something more closely resembling a trunk though.

I wonder if they went with the soft top to reduce weight and get better gas mileage. Since the Govt Mandate to ever increase fuel efficiency standards, car makers are doing away with spare tires and ANYTHING else they can in order to save weight and get better gas mileage.

Not to be a jerk, because I do care about the environment; But I'd rather have a hard top and a spare tire than a little bit better gas mileage.

Haven’t seen the trunk specs yet, but there little doubt it’s going to be tight. That’s OK there’s always the two rear seats. The interior of the soft top is impressive.

Tough crowd!
I wonder when our beloved SC's came out, how many didn't like them?

For me, if this was anywhere close to my affordability, there'd be zero hesitation. Beautiful car

I'm counting on heavy depreciation so in another 13+ years, I can have one!

I think it is a beautifully design with the top down. Not so much with the top up

It is a beautiful car but parting with $100k is difficult when the investment depreciates.
I will reconsider at the $50k mark...

I like the top up or down and I am pretty sure Lexus did not build a noisy car.

If I get one, it will be driven with the top down 99.99% of the time.
The SC looks better with the top up. The LC looks good with the top down.

Love the green one (obviously ). Being where I am, a hard top really is a must have if you want to drive it year round. Who knows, in 16 or 17 years, with depreciation....
