Well it turned out that driving it home was not an issue as I took a pass on it.

It's good to be concerned about such an important element. And if you are new to forums or ownership you would not naturally know how safe Lexus plays the TB change even at 90k intervals. Anyway, did you buy the car?

I read your other post about the car. Good call on letting it go. You have to wonder why some people would even bother buying a nice car in the first place if it's just going to be neglected.

Dennis,
So sad to hear that you had to drive for more than hundred miles to find out it’s neglected SC. You should have asked the owner to send you a recent video of the car so you don’t have to travel the distance.
What I don’t understand is just for hundred bucks, he could have the car detailed. But then you would never find out how it was neglected.

That is the nice thing about being retired. I got no place to be and I am not in a hurry to get there. I drive 248 miles round trip just to make a Costco run to Tulsa, OK which is the closest Costco. It was a nice way to kill a half day.

But you do not live within 7 miles of Wal-Mart/Sam's Club World HQ's. There are no Costco's in AR and only 1 in OK..

But what’s it say when you’re willing to drive 248 miles to a Costco when you live within 7 miles of the Walmart World HQ and pass by many many Walmarts or Sam’s Club on your way?

I think the new Costco in Oklahoma City is now open too but that would add another 100+ miles to your trip!

That makes 2 then and neither can sell Kirkland Booze only beer and wind. OK still has post prohibition booze laws that are really jacked up. When we travel to NE to visit MIL the LS is tail heavy coming home. Sister who lives .4 miles will be a Costco run to NE first of August. Resupply run. It says we prefer Costco. We shop at local Wal-mart but not for Booze.
