Well I didn't post about the SC430 because something terrible happened...So I was to pick up the car on a monday so I called and couldn't get a hold of the
owner. so I called tuesday and still couldn't get anyone, so I started to get worried. So I finally decided to go to the owners house, it's 80 miles away. I got there
and the owner invited me in and we went to the garage without him saying anything. Opened the door and my heart fell immediately.

Long story short the car was parked and unbelievably, I can't even imagine how it happened but a dump truck was backing up with his steel gate partially down
and ran into the SC and it hit the pillar between the windshield and window and crushed it in breaking the windshield and the side window and messing up the top
and the pillar was inside the car...Well I stood there for about 2 minutes and thanked to owner and left, the owner was devastated as was I. So I went home and sat
down at the computer and since I looked for forever to find a SC430 that had all the attributes this one had I simple gave up on the sc.

So I was roaming around and I found a Lexus that I've wanted for years a Lexus RC350 pale gray pearl, it's a loaded RC and it can't be told from new not a mark anywhere 14,000 miles. This is the first time driving it for any amount of time and its wonderful, so I guess my stay on the SC430 forum has ended unless in the future I find another
SC in like new shape....I fell in love with it and it's now in my garage...Goog Luck JC

So sad, it’s probably totaled. Roof would never be the same due the frame damage. Not sure you can get actual Lexus SC430 glass any longer.

Ya I can't tell you how I felt to see this SC wreaked after searching for so long..I'm sure insurance will total it, they don't
want the liability problems..What a waste of a good car.. The problem for the owner is the books on this car are no where
close to selling prices, he probable won't get $11,000 for it. I could see it in his eyes he was screwed, so I just didn't stick
around..... It happened 1 day after I was to pick it up, so if he would have been around none of this would have happened..

If he can show and prove damages i.e. a pending sale for the higher retail value vs wholesale bluebook he will have a good argument for a higher settlement from the at fault party’s insurer, if they total it out. You may be hearing from him again.

That's possible if the owner has a top grade ins. company,...of coarse he has this trucking company
that caused the accident they also have liability. I was pretty pissed when this all happened since
it could have not happened at all but I've passed with all of it and now have a fabulous RC350 that I love.

So sorry to see about the SC loss. Can you post pictures of your new RC?

So you said you would take it and pick it up on a certain day and then the owner decided to take her for a drive one more time?
