Will 2004 rear shock work on a 2006?
A strut can vary only two ways: the valving, and the dimensional measurements.
I'm wondering if a 2004 strut and (04) OEM spring could be mounted in place of
the 2006 OEM strut and (06) spring in a 2006 model? If there's just a small difference
in valving, I don't think it will upset the ride. Does anyone know if the OEM springs are the
same length ?( not worried about stiffness). I don't think Lexus would re-design the whole sc430 subframe
to "soften up" the ride in the 05+ models, probably just change the spring stiffness and strut valving. thanks.
