Default Sc430

I purchased a 2 owner 2007 with all the regular service records. I’ve driven the last 5k of the 118k, and I LOVE this car. I’d love to hear of 250k - 400k success stories. It feels like it’s built for it, and I don’t see myself ever selling it.
Thanks
Peter

I remember seeing a review from someone with 421,000 miles on their SC430. I made a screen capture of the review (see below). Not sure if this was on Edmunds or Cars.com (it was a year or so ago). I do know that several on this site have over 200k on theirs.

Ran across a early sc 430 owner with 217k on theirs. They were looking for a second generation sc430 to replace the early one, nothing wrong they just wanted to upgrade.

Default 2nd gen

just curious, when you say 2nd gen, are you referring to some changes within the 2002-2009 run? Or is 2nd gen post 2001 SC400? I still have a lot to learn 🙂

2006 and later would be second generation by most people's thinking. 6 speed trans, different headlamp and tail lamp clusters.

Maybe I'm just old school Detroit, but doesn't Lexus follow the Motor City tradition that new models are introduced in the Fall and carry the year starting in January? I think the SC420 debuted in 2001 and was designated 2002. I could be wrong on this.

....welcome to the club !!!...mine has 241k....and other than the regular maintenance, I had to replace an alternator, radiator, a/c compressor & a couple of batteries. The car has been solid throughout the years & have enjoyed every moment. If I hadn't replaced it as my daily 3.5 yrs ago, I know I would be well over 300k
