Cool Bye Bye Lexus...Hello Viper!

All good things must come to an end, so I must bid this forum adieu.
While my SC 430 was a fantastic car (except for the horrible run flat tires), my new Viper Convertable has arrived with 500 hp, 525 lbs torque.
Best of enjoyable driving to all my Lexus friends.
Bye Bye.

Addio, TOPLEXS ... er... TOPVIPE.

Be careful with all those horses and stop back with pics and news.

Perhaps you should consider this new hat ...

Initial impression on the Viper compared to SC 430.

Minuses
Much louder exhaust. (Dual sidepipes)
Harsher ride. (Koni's)
Worse fuel mileage (16mpg)
Boomier sound system (not in same class with Mark Levinson)
Slightly windier interior with top down, (Still hold a conversation at 140 mph)
No convertable hardtop, however the section over the driver is hard titanium. Sail sections are cloth.

Pluses
Unbelievable accelleration. 0-60 in 1st gear. 3.9 sec.
Best braking I've ever experienced (60-0 in 97 feet!)
190 mph top speed. (Not yet experienced).

I'll have the chance to autocross it next week. Also 1/8 mile drags.

Mostly I miss the one fingered top lowering at red lights.

Congrats on the new beast TOPLEXS.. I'd lose my license in 2 minutes if I had 500 HP to play with.. Drive safely and be sure to pop in every so often to tell us of your travels in the SNAKE!

Worse fuel mileage (16mpg)
Thats what a stock GS gets. MY GS300 is around 13-14mpg.
