Best Bluetooth / FM modulator for SC430? To hide in ashtray
Looking for the best way to integrate bluetooth into my 2004.
There are options for the FM modulator plugged into the lighter socket, tune FM to certain station and stream phone content into the ML sound system. I think it would be best to have one that would fit inside the ashtray area and stay covered until there is a phone call then just open the lid and push the button to answer the call. Mostly have it hidden for auto bluetooth connecting and phone integration. What is the best choice to fit something in there? |
I have a cassette BT adapter that just stays in the player, completely out of sight. I would like to know how/where to put a microphone, though.

You going to make me search, or be nice and post a link?
....:slap: ^BGW ^Me that was funny...okay searching 201, in the last picture, the results are displayed, select the first one and he posted a picture of his usb receptacle replacing the lighter. https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.clu...2af1bebb1.jpeg https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.clu...1c4869150.jpeg https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.clu...670a7241d.jpeg https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.clu...99a73d657.jpeg |
Those cigarette lighter socket replacement USB sockets are available on ebay and other places for fairly cheap.

I think you should make this a separate post and list it as the very first stickie. We could call it "How to search the SC430 Forum and get your questions answered"

Is that hint for Jabberwock? :ohyeah:
Jabberwock, I know there might be “search directions” in the main section but a sticky in our SC430 area would be helpful. Let me know and I can create a new post with only the search pictures, then you could close it. Or just take my single post and make it a sticky. Either way, thanks for what you do! |
