2006 tail light condensation.

I have a 2006 sc430 that has recently got condensation in the light housing of my car. Picture attached. I am not sure if it has light in it or just for show. I remove the 2 bottom screw but the housing still is stuck some how. Can someone help me with either removing it properly or how to remove the condensation? Again, that for all the help! |
It’s the one bolt near the bottom inside under the cover that you’ve already removed. Then a straight back pull and wiggle. There are two alignment pins, (circled in yellow) which have pressure clips and one alignment clip near the top black plastic. Careful with that one it’s a little delicate. But if it breaks it really won’t affect anything. Moisture is a sign of a broken or missing seal around the bulb or perimeter of the housing. Sorry, when I looked at the picture again you’re referring to the upper trim piece, not the actual tail light assembly. The part you’re referring to is just a reflector and does not have a light in it. Nevertheless it should not have that condensation. You may want to remove it and the actual tail lamp assembly and see if some debris is blocking the channel where water flows behind both. The upper trim piece just pulls off after removing the two nuts to the threaded screw posts. |

I don’t know about that... but I see a close up of a white 06 tail light and upper garnish assembly with a lot of moisture in the upper trim. It looks just like this: https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.clu...15f2d6d08.jpeg |

The picture in post #6 is the OP’s car and picture of his condensation problem. No picture came through in post #9. But yes, I do see the pic in post #1 and an identical screen capture I posted in #6 above. May be a operator head space and timing issue. |
