This question has been asked in the past but I don't mind to answer again. Bough my 2007 in Oct, 2015, drove 4K miles and plan to keep her until I leave this world.
Very proud owner of the SC

It's great to see that you still have yours, Harold. I miss mine every time I see someone driving theirs around town.

99' GS400 - my daily driver dealer serviced since new. no problems at all. plan on keeping.
02' SC430 - purchased last year, love the car. plan on keeping for the foreseeable future.
'17 GX 470 - hers but she may trade depending on what comes out in a couple years.

Next up:
in 2 years - '10 IS-F. Maybe this will replace my daily? We'll see.
in 5 years - '17 LC500. Saw this at the dealer and the craftsmanship is amazing. Beautiful car but will wait for price to come down.

I think we will always own an SC430 though just because they don't make them anymore and they have a certain style you don't see everyday.
You should try driving an ISF, they're actually pretty comfy and I totally understand why/how people daily theirs. I have to keep reminding myself to drive the CT or else it's not needed.

Bought mine in 2010 with 82K miles now 94k miles. No plan to replace unless the following happens:

1. Roof stopped working
2. Car totaled
3. Wins grand prize on mega-millions or power-ball

I bought mine in December 2010, It had 102,000 miles on it. It currently has 146,000 miles.

Maintenance List
For anyone looking to purchase and is curious, the list is as follows:
Replaced the water pump, timing belt, and catalytic converters upon purchase. Tune up was done 4 years ago so it's time for another. Alternator and 2 speed sensors have been replaced recently. 2 front engine mounts have to be replaced as I have driven hard so it makes sense. Truly reliable as all the other components seem to be fine. I upgraded the front brakes to the MKIV supra calipers pads and rotors along with SS brake lines. I am currently looking into upgrading the suspension as the bushings are aging and the struts seem to finally be going.

....bought my 02, in May 2006, with 80k. It was my daily until Jan 2015 and now has 247k.....no major issues, replaced the radiator, alternator & a/c unit. Other than the oil, plugs & regular maintenance stuff, everything else has been mods.........planning on keeping it, unless something happens to her !!!

Let see if I understand correctly. You bought your 03 SC in Dec 2010 with 96K miles, has been garage queen and it is now at 108K miles. Right?

Yes, you are right. I have to take it out for a ride this weekend, on a non-rainy day.
