Car dead but battery good.

Thank you for your thoughts! Ironically, my husband went out this morning and just tried to jump it with the car instead of the battery charger and it took off. Several people have checked the battery and have said it was fine, yet I have also heard that the SC goes through a battery much quicker than other cars.
I have a lot of records on this car. From what I see is 9-7-12 it appears they bought the battery? 72 mo., 2-8-18, 48pc reserve, 4-19-16. 600cca?, alt charging at 13.4v. (Whatever those numbers mean). I could not find the actual number on the battery, may be under a cover or something, but if it is the same battery it would appear the battery is dying a slow death since he was in the nursing home by number still in 2016! I am going to get a new battery tomorrow and see what happens from there! Thanks for your thoughts!

Well, Isgtee and since I was able to dig up the repair records I am shooting for battery first. Any suggestions on which and where? I had heard Cosco or Walmart.

Interstate. Costco. Around 115 bucks.

Costco or Walmart sell very good quality batteries at a reasonable cost. Be sure to buy a battery with a 3 year FULL replacement at no cost warranty. Batteries with super long extended prorated warranty (not full replacement at no cost) are a simply a high priced scam designed to rip off gullible consumers.
