Default bypass throttle body coolant because of leak?

Hi has anybody bypassed throttle body because of coolant slight leak coming out from top where line goes in? tech said I had to replace complete throttle body but wondering if it can be bypassed or a kit or something?

Why? You can get a remanufactured one from rock auto for 250. You can have your pick of used ones under a hundred dollars, with a warranty from some. Easy fifteen minutes to do taking your time. Just saying its a cheap and easy fix to do the right way.

Hi, thanks for the info. I had been reading that since I am in Phoenix, where it never gets cold I dont need it? I had seen guys on the older SC's bypassing it all together out here so wondered if I can do that if I really dont need it? I am glad to hear easy to replace though, do you have steps? My tech today quoted me $550 for a used one installed, so sounds like I can get one cheap enough to just replace it, but again wondering if I need it in AZ?
