...I replaced mine with one from Autozone & for me, it was easier to replace it from the bottom. I jacked the vehicle up, removed the splash cover & the alternator will be right there. If I remember correctly, I didn't have to take anything else off. I unbolted it & disconnected the harness, then was able to lift it over the sway bar & wiggle it out

had to stop getting late plus alternator will get here thurs. got the belt off and looking at the beast scary but I can do this just my first time for the lex hopefully the last time lol but thanks for the help great info

i had an alternator go bad on my Honda Accord recently. I found a repair shop and they replaced everything for $105.

did you purchase a new alternator or rebuilt? Many times, a rebuilt means they only replaced the bad part(s) unless it specifically states otherwise.
