Yikes - yes it is saddle. I often wonder how someone can put that kind of wear on a car that isn't 30 years old.

Our 2004 SC (29k miles) is saddle color leather.

i'm wondering what the previous owner conditioned the seat with myself. I have upholstery on the way.

My leather looks like Caditotx's, but I baby it: Best quality conditioner and little sun exposure when parked. My arm rest shows the most wear, but keeping up the conditioner keeps it looking pretty darn good. I've seen replacement arm rest leather for sale on eBay. I've thought about buying it to just have it on hand against the day I think I need it.

I just ordered the front two seats and arm rest pieces for $300. Curious to see what I get in the mail.

please take pictures and let us know what you think about the replacement leather. I need to replace the leather on my seats too, same color as yours.

did you order the sample color before you ordered or are you going to replace front and back?
also, do you remove the old leather and replace with this new leather or does it slip over the existing?
what about the armrests?

Verified with vendor 2004 Saddle is listed as tan. Originals have to come off and new ones go over foam. The set I ordered was off Amazon, and comes with armrest. You have to transfer seat heaters amd seat belt retainer magnet over.

that sounds great! I really hope you are happy with the product, I will look for them on Amazon. At least with Amazon, if you are not happy with the product, you can always send it back, and Amazon will pay the return shipping.

Default Got them in the mail today....

I hope they work out. There is a lead time of 4-6 weeks. Hopefully I get them sooner. UPDATE they came in the mail today. Color is spot on when compared to unexposed leather (behind seat back) otherwise a tad bit cleaner. The stock leather darkened over time. The only issue I had is that the stitching is tan. I notified the company and they are going to exchange. Are they OEM? About 90-95% appearance wise. The new covers have a thin foam type backing where the originals are just leather. They will need a little shrinking up here and there... As most covers have that i have installed. You will need hog ring pliers and will need to xfr the seat heat heater over. I will try and post pictures of install process.

Amazing! Color and quality look perfect! Please do a detailed DIY from start to finish. I want to attempt this on my 2002 and I know there are many people who would take on this challenge. I was quoted a ridiculous amount to redo my leather from local shops. I have no other choice then to do it myself. Thanks for leading the charge and I look forward to your project.
