I believe the power window module used was the SkyTek Electronics ACCWR-8-4 Smart Window Control module. Make sure it is the -4 module as the other (ACCWR-8 or ACCWR-8-2) version will only do the down function. They can be found currently on EBay or at Sonic Electronics. Looks like Amazon does not have any in-stock listings right now.

On a side note, in the excellent wire diagram supplied byShawnOK in Post #30, please note that there is a third wire at the new control switch ( bottom center of diagram ) that is connected to Chassis Ground.

Yes, all the above as posted by FlopTop is correct. Model of module is ScyTek WR-8-4 (SMART4); linked in post #28. I guess it is also called ScyTek ACCWR-8-4.

Here are some photos of my install, and I've also updated the photo in post #30 with the GND added to the switch. As for the switch, as you will see I had to modify my switch approach a little once I got into the cigarette lighter housing. I had already pre-soldered the switch, which I will have to resolder to turn the wires to be at 90 degrees to give me a little more room and a cleaner install. The original plan was to place the switch so it would sit in the larger gap but it turned out that the larger space has a tension spring behind it and removing that would make the "automatic" lid function obsolete, so I had to adapt the plan slightly. Also as you will see in the photos I had to sand down one edge of the switch housing as it was touching the gear and causing the lid to have a jerky movement. I didn't want to alter the cog. I think i will sand the switch edge a little more to allow fluid movement of cog. The ground wire for the switch is connected to the cigarette lighter ground. Currently the ash tray lid opens and closes and the switch is accessible. The windows roll down/up perfectly. First set of photos is of trunk and wire paths (purple wire is for my Lexus etched LED deflector btn headrests, coiled black wires are for bass control **** and SiriusXM antenna; none involve this install). Others photos are switch installation. Last photo is final product. Let me know what you think.

By the way, as mentioned above, doing this method to move the quarter windows, you will have to restart the car to be able to get the top to cycle. From my experience so far (IIRC), if you return the quarter window to it's previous position (ie. completely down when top is down, completely up when top is up), then the top will cycle properly. In any case that you try to cycle the top and get NO RED LIGHT/NO TONE and no movement from the top it means your quarter windows aren't in the natural position. Put the quarter windows in the position that they should be (up if top up, down if top down), restart the car, and try again. Takes some getting used to to learn the "rules," but makes logical sense when you think about the car's sensors needing to know the position of the quarter windows to avoid damage to the glass or the top.

Awesome news buddy! I will proof my diagram one last time to make sure I didn't make any mistakes with the colors of wires but I think you will be happily pleased that it was so easy.

good work Shawn! I think that was the right way to go since you have luxlink... I don't know how the self made relay would have affected the luxlink functions..

I went the relay way because I didn't want to deal with restarting car. I could actually roll my quarters down and then press top down button and it would move top as it already detected that quarter is down.
