Hi guys, I have a 04 sc430, yesterday replace the wiper with some Goodyear one and notice the driver side blades hitting the hood as it goes down, are these blades adjustable and how? Any one can help or has done this before much thanks

Yes, there is adjustment you can make. Open up the hood and loosen the 10mm nut that holds the blade arm. You can then lift the arm a little bit from the motor gear rod and rotate the arm till you think it will clear the hood. Having said that I still think you should replace the wiper blade with a low profile kind which is what SC430 calls for instead of adjusting arm position with the motor gear.
There are plenty of low profile blade in store and online. Here is an example that will work well on SC430:

Well, if you got it from Costco my suggestion is to make a trip to an auto store and get one that works for that car and return the one from Costco because your SC430 deserves something that actually fits.

Use the Bosch Icons, they look good and work well. I have not had success on the Goodyear ones, at least the design that Costco sells.

Anyone know if the sc430 has adjustable wiper for snow by pulling on the wiper arms to bring up higher like the GS

it appears you are ignoring them, but I am sure you just missed their comments and will quickly acknowledge their comments by showing them some respect and replying to them!

Really appreciated everyone's help, much thanks. I saw a video on you tube where the GS had the snow setting where you can pull up on wiper to sit higher I'm fairly new to sc and wonder if this was also an option.

You can set your wipers higher as long as it does not hit your A pillar.

Even if you manage to adjust the wiper travel to clear the hood while not hitting the A pillar you are going to be dealing with two inches higher wiper position on the window and one inch extra rise from the blade. The lower quarter of the windshield is going to be all wipers instead of just the top of the hood line. Besides its ugliness from the outside and inside you are losing field of view in driving. Going thru the trouble of adjusting the arms and putting up with all its downsides to save a few dollars is just not worth it IMO.

Nothing like saving a few bucks only to spend three hours making it work! ;-)

Sometimes the value of your time is worth $0 per hr when you just enjoy tinkering with your car...it's the challenge of saying, hey, I saved $10 on these blades but I will replace them in two months when they wear out.
