I'm happy with my SC430. Can't wait to get it out of winter storage next month. Let's see if later on they make the LC500 into a drop-top.

Chris.......From OZ.
I owned one long ago. After I put in an 62 rear axle housing and it's traction bars and bolted steel plates on both sides of the rear leaf springs to control axle hop the car actually handled fantastic.

wide track suspension helped..

would corner hard enough to pull the rear axles out of the press fit rear axle bearings.

had to make a metal brake drum retainer that physically held the rear axles in the housing.

REALLY miss my hot rod 58.

2675 pounds with a 450 hp built 327 and 4:88 gears.

scsry fast.

Am happy with my SC. But finding out that I can get an RC for $40K, it is very tempting.

Don't do it mandyfig

you also have a " WGC ". Now if you were getting
an LC 500, that is a different story :0

I'm keeping my SC but have been looking at the RC-F in addition, and what's interesting is there are some low mile 2009-2010 SCs selling in the RC-F territory of $50k+ on AutoTrader. Interesting to me at least and just FYI.

I think as the years go by, the low mileage clean SC will start
to command a good price.

I am driving an RCF 200T as a loaner for my IS Airbag Recall.

I must say, I want one. Talking to the Lexus rep, $45k out the door.

This one I have is an RCF. Must be in the $50K. If you want the RC350 you are looking at $55K. Overall much less than the SC430 of $65K plus.

I just happen to drive pass local Nissan dealer last weekend, and a grey car in the corner caught my eyes. I went back and stopped to make sure. Yep it was a Nissan GT-R. First time I have seen it outside of movies and internet. In my excitement, the thought cross my mind to trade in the SC for a younger faster girl

There are so many modern cars with more powerful engines. Heck even our MDX has more HP and corners better than the old SC with its SH AWD. But there is something unique about the SC - a hard top convertible with a reliable old Toyota V8. It's not about speed or power, its uniqueness of style.

The SC is a keeper. Tempting to get awhite RC, then I have White on White. Not.

Had to come in to work, had a BMW shipment for the new X3 and took the SC! Beautiful day!
