Sorry for bailing on the thread. It's been a hectic few weeks with the move. I am here in Florida now. I have been looking for a place and just found one. I'll be moving in this weekend.

The SC is not here with me yet. My brother is going to drive it down in a couple of weeks. I am glad for that, it would have never worked out with the pet carriers. I will say that the SC is by far a more comfortable ride than the IS250!

It has over 500 reviews, 4.5 stars... I guess I'll see if it starts to slide over time, but if it doesn't slide now, I'm not sure why it would start to slide in a year, or two years from now. It doesn't use adhesive which can degrade...

Oh well, for $15 I'll see how well it works.
My problem with a similar device was that the phone just flipped out of it when I accelerated.

I bought a magnetic vent holder for the IS and since being here in Florida, I found the heat loosened everything at it flew off the vent (even though it is the screw tightening kind) and the rotating ball joint would no longer tighten so the phone would just flop.

And it is not even summer here yet!

Works great. I use it with Monster cassette adapter and Iphone. Have all the music I want.
Can you please take a pic of your set up? AS you know our CD slot is quite unique. The slot is too close to the top and therefore requires a thinner bracket to fit.

Would appreciate a quick verification that it works before I waste $15 and some frustration.

TIA!

Here it is: It fits and works. Mine looks different than the photo in your post.

The photo I posted was a speculation. I did not click on your link and was just surfing and came upon this model.

This is the $14.99 one? If it is, I am sold, it fits the slot without interference.

Problem solved, yes!

Not to derail this thread, but tax day this year is April 18th...

Nice phone holder, though!

Remember to disconnect the cable and remove all CDs from the disk player. Hit LOAD and insert the clamp into the slot then tighten it in place. The magnet is very strong so you might want to place the metal square between the phone and its protective cover to reduce the suction.

Just saw this and looks like a pretty good option. Especially when using your phone for gps. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Adjustable-U...9Y7g9b&vxp=mtr

So I purchased the Koomus CD Slot Phone holder and it came in.

Tried it on my SC and FAIL! I forgot that I have my CD changer jammed and therefore the CD slot does not want to retract, saying there are 6 CD’s in there already.

FAIL!

I immediately found a new home for it…the IS. My other holder that I bought (CD slot as well) was already kaput, the plastic was so thin that after I tried to tighten it (was wiggly), it cracked.

This magnetic Koomus works like a charm. Nothing beats a magnetic holder. Although I had concerns on the magnet affecting the phone (?).

No, it would not hurt your phone. I had Koomus for a year and the Iphone 6's still fine.

1st job is to get my CD Changer fixed. Then I can get all the CD's out. Then I can get another Koomus for the SC.

I actually put the plate inside the Iphone case and it still sucks the phone tight. So it works good. I have it installed on the IS.

I need one for the SC.

GmanSC,

What did you mean by:
