Don't they dry out the rubber more?

Default Bought and sold prices

I bought my 2006 White Gold Crystal SC430 in June, 2013 with 40k miles for $30k. I sold the car in April, 2019 with 66k miles with recent timing belt/water pump done for $18k.

The new owner swaps plates. Goodbye Garage Queen.

Got an 02 about two weeks ago. 74,800 miles when I bought it. Got it for 10.4k with a 2 year power train warranty. No wrecks either. I feel pretty good about the whole situation.

Default Absolutely Red 2002

2002 with 120k.
Timing belt/water pump, Pilot Sport AS3+, brakes F&R, brake fluid flushed/changed, throttle body service, 4 wheel alignment all done at 118k. Clear bra (a little dull looking, unsure of age). Excellent service records at my local dealer for its whole life. Drives great, can’t wait for top down weather. $9k, local private sale.

Just bought mine last Saturday from a Benz dealer in Scottsdale for $24k. One owner, 2007 Amethyst with only 42k miles on it. Timing belt was done at 40k miles. I have some of the maintenance records, but I'll be going through the whole car over the next couple of months. Top priority will be to get the windows tinted since summer is just around the corner. I plan to make this my daily driver. will get around to checking the speaker foams eventually.

The car I had before, that this one is replacing, I've had since it was new in 2003! I drove my Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder for 16 years and put just under 200k miles on it. So I believe I'll be running with this car for quite a while.

Congratulations and welcome to the club.
One mod you should be thinking is back up cam. You will need it because the vision to outside from inside the SC is poor after the window tinting. Others are install LED DRLS and especially replace LEDs to all interior lights to prevent battery drainage.
