I had inoperative headlights on my 03 sc430, but they did go up and down when turning the key on, then the light on the dash would illuminate, indicating a problem. I removed both leveling sensors and removed the rear cover of them; they were both completely filthy and corroded. I bought two new ones off Ebay for 15 bucks each, and that completely fixed the problem. On the listing, they are specified for IS, RX8, and Tacoma, but they worked perfectly, and no more dash light on. Don't know if this is a proper fix, but worked fine for me.
