Floor Jack and Jack Stand Pads, Wood or Rubber
Now some of you are going to laugh at me because you have known this for years! 
I have always used wood to cushion and protect a car from the floor jack or jack stands, this morning I was getting ready to purchase rubber pads but noticed how expensive they are, $11-16 each.
The website then showed those who purchased these pads also purchased hockey pucks!
Being from the south, ice hockey was not a sport I often thought about...anyway, sure enough, hockey pucks make GREAT jack and Jack stand pads.
Hockey puck, $2 each...ordered eight...
Google "Jack stand hockey puck" and look at videos or images for different ideas.
