What is a uv protectant? Is it a paste you rub on the lenses, or a film you stick on the lenses after you clean them?
|
It is a UV Protectant. Liquid that you apply to the lens.

Thanks Mandy. Available in auto parts stores I presume?

Today, I reading the forums, being jealous that others in nicer climates are still enjoying their cars. lol
I am at least taking advantage of being stuck indoors to work on the CarPC/integration system again. |

That lake effect machine sure is up and running.
Snow-wise, we have gotten it pretty easy here so far this year. The real problem this winter is the up and down temps. It snows, then warms up and melts, and then freezes over into ice. And our State has gotten really cheap on the salt the last few years. White knuckle driving lately. Last week we went from -2 degrees to 37 in just a couple days. Back down in the teens, heading back up to 34. Regardless, I'll take it over the amount of snow we had the last 2 winters. We had mountains of snow, it was up to the second floor windows at my work last year. We still had huge mounds of snow not done melting in May. |

Mid 20s is a light-jacket day here :) |
I hope you are not in Flint, I just heard a story about the drinking water. I know the media hypes stories but it sure sounds bad in the big cities!!!
Have you ever looked at the defense companies? Northrop Grumman has been hiring plenty of people in Melbourne, Fl and once the new bomber protest is complete, they are going to hire another 800-1000 at that facility. Also, they hire US citizens who can obtain security clearances... |

We'll see how things pan out once I get the fiancee here. I have a feeling she will be begging for us to move after her first winter. :) |
