Can you please confirm model and how much it was? Did you go straight to the website?

Thanks.

I bought a set from them too, back in February. They seem to be of good quality.

Ordered my set from Amazon, Strongarms via liftdepot. Same shy of $35 for the pair. Watch out for somebody advertising for about $28. That means it is 1 pc.

I have a set of useless struts, good for paperweight (not even) that I bought for $29. The strongarms have good reviews.

I currently struggle to lift the trunk lid to full set position. If I do not lift to full up, it will drop. Ask me how I know…

Hopefully the set will be good for the next few years.

Can not wait.

Received my set from Strongarm from liftdepot, replaced the struts and now much better. When I open the trunk and lift it, it will lieft on its own. Whereas before I actually had to lift the trunk until it locked up, otherwise it would fall down, been hit more than once on the head.

Hopefully stays good for a long time...

Glad they work great for you. I know that's one heavy trunk lid too. It only took me once getting hit in the head by it before I ordered new lifts.

Got that right, trying to lift it was a job too. and after getting hit on the head, the body reacts fishy when you start to open the trunk...

With the new struts, does the trunk pop up when you unlock it? Mine doesn't appear to pop when the trunk is unlocked so I have to squeeze my fingers under the trunk to lift it open. And it does not continue opening once I start it upward. Let me know it new ones would improve this.

I asked that exact question of Flow Lexus in Greensboro NC and they said for our trunk that is normal. I can stop my trunk lid at any point and it does not fall, but it does not continue on its own until near the very top. they said that was normal.

With the old original struts, it pops. With the new strut, still same, it pops. This time when you lift it, it will go to the end position UP by itself, unlike the the old.
