So I was just looking at my engine bay last night after putting in new low beam halogens and I noticed that my crankshaft pulley seem to indicate that it has been removed, has hit marks on the corners.
I do not have any information on the available Lexus history that indicate that the timing belt was done. If there was a timing belt done, would have been outside Lexus.
Just thinking aloud.
Better just tear it down and see if the belt is new and the water pump is new as well? And if I get into it, I might was well replace them since I have purchased the set already (sitting there for about a year now).

My additional coolant and Toyota Thermostat came in from Amazon. I am ready to tackle my timing belt. Wait I have to create my special tool as well.

Amazondotcom, less than $200. Shipped in OCT 2013, been sitting in the garage. It is still active, check it out. Also you will need to get the Thermostat. There are other packages out there but most have stuff that are optional. To each his own.
