I'm 66 - can't remember all the cars I've owned but my first few were an Austin 10 (suicide doors) and then several Austin Minis ( including an S)

My last 5 have been SC's

1995 Lexus SC 300 manual transmission
1997 Lexus SC 400 needed an automatic because of the introduction of the wireless phone!
2004 Lexus SC 430 (totaled by a school bus)
2007 Lexus SC 430 (totaled in a flash flood)
2009 Lexus SC 430 (current)

Suppose you could call me a stick in the mud - but the SC is just my cuppa tea!!!

The really liked the first truck but didn't have 3 features I realized I needed/wanted until I had it for a few weeks. It didn't have HID headlights, rear view camera and Garage door opener. Those we're going to cost me about $2,500 to get installed.

I found a slightly used, 4 month old, 2014 loaded Lariat CPO at another dealership. CPO gave me an additional 4yr/48k vs 3yr/36k bumper to bumper and a 7yr/100k powertrain warranty. The MSRP on that truck was $53k. I initially walked away from the first ridiculous offer but after 2 days of phone negotiation I basically paid the difference in MSRP between the 2 trucks. Ford credit also offered 1.9% on CPO which I took.

This one has the additional items; Heated and Air Conditioned leather seats, 4x4, off road kit, tailgate step, upgraded tri-coat platinum white paint, 20" tires with chrome wheels. chrome pkg, navigation, center console, , HID headlamps, rear view camera, homelink garage door opener, power rear sliding window, 2 tone paint and previous owner installed a color matched hard tonneau cover and BedRug Bed liner.

Hmmm... not in exact order!
Started out with a 1980 Chevy Chevette
1985 Nissan Pulsar
1978 Plymouth Fury (Chevette died, cash car!)
1992 Grand Am
Mercury Cougar (when they were big coupes)
1994 Ford Aerostar
1996 Olds Cutlass Coupe
? Buick Riviera
? Cutlass Supreme Sedan
? Cadillac
? GMC Z-71 pick up
Olds Bravada
2002 Ford Fx4 pick up
2002 Lincoln Navigator
2000 Mercedes S430
2004 Acura MDX
2006 Chrysler 300 Heritage Edition
2004 Yukon Denali XL
2006 Lincoln LT (hubby drives)
2010 Navigator L (still have)
2008 SC Pebble Beach

I think when it's time to move on from the Navigator, we will go back to a GM SUV - the Navigator had fold flat 2nd and 3rd row, true 4wd and keypad entry. We can get all of that in a 15 or newer Escalade ESV or Suburban, except for the keypad entry. The GM just feels like a better car! When we replace the Lincoln truck (it only has 60k miles, so may be awhile!) I think it will be for a GMC also. When it's time to replace the SC... I'm gonna cry! Most likely a new BMW 4 series.
