Default Sways yes, brackets no

Hey guys,

Long time member, few posts. When I do post it's factual!

So on spec I ordered bar and bushings It's a tight fit, will cut a few knuckles and a couple bad words! Keep the kids out of the garage. But as far as reusing the brackets, I'm not sure that's the way to go I had to shoulder press those 12 mm bolts with an extension to get them back in the holes. Normally I would stop the project and get the right part. But my nephew has been driving my 2001 gs430 with 175 k!!!! So I had to get the sc back on the road. The bar fits, changes the way the rear hols the ground. Def worth the 130 from Sewell ship, bar, bushes. I would suggest getting the brackets. The sc's are too small. They will work but not the right fit. Someone please confirm my experience. I was stock before the change. Awesome handling mod to our stock ride. Still we'll worth my shore shoulder!

Paige

I posted pictures of the GS300 TRD front sway bar install a while ago. Didnt have any problem with the install and the oem brackets worked fine. Performamce improvement was great! For the rear I did the mod before Bacardi's discovery and installed the rear 19mm TRD sway bar for the GS300 modifying the rear chasis support at an extra expense. Performance also great. Wish I would have known about the ISF rear bar as it is a simple DIY ...

So I'm wondering, from the attached photo what part numbers are necessary for only the REAR sway bar upgrade? I see two bars listed with the same number and different descriptions, but want to confirm which one is the proper one, top or bottom. Secondly, I see the OEM Bushings listed also. Would those work on my 2002 or do I need to go third party for the bushing as bclex did? And any update on the brackets, also listed here?

guys
I used the stock 430sc bracket like slvbullet did I guess you could use ISF brackets I have them but I didn't have them with me. when I go to the shop I will change them. I hope you enjoy the great upgrade. using the front gs 28.6 mm gives the car a well balanced setup. going to the shop to day see if they can change the brackets today. very easy job with a lift. I helped do mine 45 to 1 hr.

Energy part # 16.5142R makes a front 28.6 mm that will fit may have to change to the Energy brackets. but I can't find a rear 17 mm like the ones on the ISF bar.

So as I asked above in post #39, there are two bars listed under the same number (48812-30400). But they have different descriptions. Are they the same? Does it matter which one I order? Top item or bottom item?
