Default What's it worth?

I have been contemplating moving overseas fulltime. If I do move I will not be taking my 06 SC430 Pebble Beach with me. It has less than 22,000 miles. New Michelin tires on 8.5x18, IS350 rims, (still have the original rims too) spare tire, top sway bar, Daizen lower sway bar (not installed) misc filters and sport pedals (not installed).
What is it worth?

Default $30k

I'd think if you were able to be patient and hold out for the right buyer, $30K should be attainable. What do you think it's worth?

I thought with the extras and the luggage that originally came with the car it would be worth 32k-33K.

It's worth whatever someone is willing to pay, not the best time of the year to sell a convertible, at least in the northern part of the country. I would think 32-34 would be a good starting price. Hope you get top dollar, let us know.

As a point of reference, Wilde Lexus in Sarasota offered to buy both my SC430's about 4 months ago. Their wholesale offers were around $30,000 each. This was for either a 2007 with 16,000 mies and a 2008 with 56,000 miles. They were planning on putting them on their lot as CPO cars. Your 2007 is too old certify as CPO. I got similar offer from Carmax.

The only reason I considered selling was we had 4 Lexus cars for the 2 of us. I ended up selling our 2009 LS460 to JM Lexus who put it on their lot as a certified car.

Keep in mind that was 4 months ago and wholesale. SC430s are hot cars on Lexus used car lots but prices have declined a little.

Currently, per KBB.COM your car has a private party price in very good condition of about $27,500 with your mileage and PB option. My 2 SC430s currently have KBB private party value of about $30,000.

Saying all that, your car is worth what a buyer is willing to pay. The Tigereye Mica Pearl, unique color of the 2006 PB, limits the buyer pool but those who want it would be willing to pay more for a nice one.

Good luck.

JR

Albino is in Florida. This is the perfect time to sell a convertible in Florida. It's currently partly cloudy, 79 degrees and light winds.

I think I'll go for a ride down to the beach with the top down.

57 in Denver now, but snow tonight and high of 36 tomorrow, you WIN. But if the Broncos weren't playing tomorrow I'd be skiing. LOL

I would hold off for 32k, with that low milage, I 'm sure there is a buyer who will pay top dollar!

I recently put our 2007 with 22K miles on it for $33K on craigs list in the SF Bay Area. My wife and I got into a fight and I threatened to sell the car. She called my bluff and I went ahead and listed it. We got 10 emails almost immediately from prospective buyers with local phone numbers (i.e that's 10 after filtering out the scam responses). I promptly removed the add after realizing I'd have to deal with legit folks wanting to buy it and I realized I wasn't serious.

I would start at $35K.

I've dealt with Wilde Lexus before, it's a great dealership, missing Sarasota with the winter weather in VA.

In my opinion, the PB special edition doesn't particularly add much value. In some cases, with kbb, adding the pb option lower the price by $40 or so which is really strange.

The Tiger Eye Mica, on the other hand, is stunning and rare (was available without the PB option too) and it should command a premium. I would have paid $2 or $3K more for ours with that color over the Obsidian that we bought.

Apparently, the value is highly dependent upon the color. Check out this ridiculousness I ran across on ebay.
