Silver SC 430 in Mean Girls
I was surfing channels the other night and Tina Fey's "Mean Girls" movie was on so I started watching it.
The main mean girl character drives a silver SC 430 with the top down. So I googled it and this link for Taylor Swift came up explaining she bought her SC 430 when she turned 16 cause she had seen it in Mean Girls.

When I was 16 I bought a red Volvo P544. It would show up in movies back then that were shot on the east or west coast. They were either red or white in the movies.

Nothing new here. Product placement is a well known phenomenon and standard practice in movies and TV. Ian Flemming famously mentioned (for free) lots of brand names in the James Bond books (James drove a Bentley), but the movie versions charged for auto, vodka, wrist watch and even beer placement. Surely Aston Martin sold lots of cars to Bond wannabes. (My brother actually had 007 followed by his initials on his license plate for several years.) It must still be working, as I see the meanest girls in SC430s all the time.

LOL, I have never encountered a mean girl in any SC430, just many wealthy cougars,
