SC gang

After 5 months of searching, I finally found my 04 SC Egyptian Pearl CPO 50K clean carfax no accident, repaint queen .

During my search, I notice most of them (up to 06 ) was quite beat up with high mileage , repaint of both hood and bumpers.

If you guys have a " clean" low mileage SC , keep it and I would not be surprise if these SC increase in value over time . A recent article from KBB shows used Lexus/Toyota holds its value after 5yrs at close to 48% (!)
Toyota and Lexus has also gone up by about 3% per KBB so this should tell you guys about the quality of your car ...


Although these cars were made for 8 yrs, you just don't see too many around these days . I am getting more compliments on my SC than my 500SL when I use to own the Benz . I am still amazed how limited these cars are when they still made them till 2010

I can tell you that only 2000 SC 430's were sold in the UK and we did not get the 2010 model.

According to that Wikipedia link "In 2010, a final special edition model for Japan, the SC 430 Eternal Jewel edition, was produced, limited to 200 units"

Total SC430 production from 2002 - 2009 was 71,784 of which 25,427 were in 2002 and only 14,462 were sold in 2002.

So, less than (71,784-2000 UK) = 69,784 were imported to USA

FYI! I have what is perhaps the lowest mileage 2002 sc430 in the nation. It has 9,800 original miles and is all original.
