Post your 0-60 and we can compare. Be honest! I will start. Before my TC restall the best I could get was 6.65 (although I can never seem to get a clean run with so much traffic in my area) -Lex

Can't really cite a 0-60 because I don't have a reliable way to measure it. But at the strip, the times on the ticket are reliable. My engine is still stock and I did 14.6 sec on the 1/4 mile at the 75-80 Dragstrip. My new exhaust goes in next week then I test again on the Dyno and then the 1/4 mile.

your 0-60 times is around 5.8 sec.

I find it really hard to get a solid 0-60 on open roads. Road is either not flat, wet, traffic, or those annoying police cars :-)

lex
you will find that 5.8 is the time for a stock car. 0-60

I never get even close to 5.8. I just don't see how that's possible on an sc. I have also read on other threads that other people don't get close to that time either, and lexus exaggerated the 0-60. Also something about the test car for lexus being different than the model we drive. And having a professional race car driver must do something to :-)

lex
that the times from the factory test site and it is correct

I'd be glad to post my 0-60 time, but I can't be honest about it. This is the internet.

bacardi11 Jun 22, 2013 07:17 AM

they are done by professional race car drivers. it can be done.

I think the point LexBrett is trying to make, is a comparison of our vehicles. I'm sure it's possible to pull 5.8sec if you were a professional driver, but I'd also be interested to find out what the NON-pro, verified 0-60 times are between the users of the forum. For someone that is pulling closer to this 5.8 mark, then I'd want to know what mods they've done. Just for a sake of comparison. Personally, I haven't clocked mine so I'm not sure.

the only different between you an a pro is the way you power brake the take off. there is no difference otherwise. it all in the take off.

About 15 maybe 20 seconds? Lol

bacardi11 Jun 22, 2013 09:47 AM

15 or 20 would be a vw 4cyl

Personally, I don't think iPhone / Android apps are accurate enough to draw any conclusions. I tried the iPhone app a couple years ago and it was all over the place. It had me running as fast as 5.2 and as slow as 6.8 on identical runs. You might get something approaching accurate if you average ten runs. But then again, you might not.

Bacardi, there's also differences in the mods that we have on each of our cars. Intakes, Exhausts, Tires, Rims, etc. Not just the take off.
