our NAV does not accept input voice commands, it only provides voice directions. The NAV will tell you to turn left or turn right.
Starting with the 2006 model (I think), you can give NAV voice commands.
My 06 has a limited number of voice commands it will accept. The details are on page 159 of the navigation manual. Not very useful. I think it is best to just use the touch screen.

True but the voice can be inputted while moving which is a big plus. Personally, I use GAS and FAST FOOD all the time. Probably too much on that last one.
DELETE DESTINATION and DELETE NEXT DESTINATION also gets some use.
