Default Backup camera and RFTs

I got a quote of $550 to install a backup camera for my SC 430. It's kind of an unnecessary luxury but I have a narrow shallow garage that holds the car. The backup camera would give me peace of mind that I don't tap any of the junk back there unnecessarily.

Any suggestions or recommendations?

Also I have newly installed Perelli RFT's with about 500 miles on them. They provide excellent performance and no road noise but it's still too bumpy ride for me. If theres anyone in the New York City area want to buy them off my car I like to get the Bridgestone serenity tires. I'm willing to take a big loss (but not unreasonable) for them so I'm open to offers

The back up camera in my opinion is very important. I find it hard to see when turning your head because of the head rests in the way of my vision. I rely on mirrors and my back up camera. The price quoted was for what camera system and what type of install. Interface needed ?

Your tires I would post on the classified forum.

I paid 150 or so for a Nav tool and about 100 for a camera. install was around 90 dollars. So really you should be at around 350ish for the back up camera with the parts. but if you are doing a Navtool you might as well get the extra video input hooked up to a dvd player or something in the glove box. At that point youll need sound too so for around another 150 pick up a vais SLU to give you two audio inputs on the stock HU. If you hold off till May all of my stuff will be for sale...I am replacing the entrie audio system in my SC.

Best price I found after a quick search for a NavTool is $280 shipped (brand new). Add a $100 camera and you're at $380. Anything over that is probably what the shop will profit. Now that you know this, try to negotiate them down.

Where are you finding the Nav tool for $280? The Nav tool website has it listed for $360

I received an estimate of $550 to have it installed here on Long Island

Newbie here.

I'm interested in finding the backup camera as well.

I bought my SC 430 last week and really miss the camera.

I also will be searching for new stereo to plug in the iPhone and seeing if there's an upgrade on the navigation.

I'd like to take the back seat out to make room for Teddy, my German Shepherd.

Go to ebay and search for navtool lexus SC430 and it will pop up for $279.99

These are listed directly by Navtool Products itself.

What's the new system going to be?

What will you be selling?
