Kenwood DDX719
Just had the DDX719 installed using the Beat Sonic integrator and it works/sounds great, but noticed that my antenna now extends when the car is turned on rather than when the radio is on. this will obviously not work for washing the car, etc.! Has anyone had experience with Kenwood HUs. Should I have the installer try again?

Sounds like the blue and/or blue/white wire on the Beatsonic isn't connected to the correct wire coming out of the Kenwood - but I haven't looked at the specific wires that come out of the modular connector supplied with that head unit.
The antenna will always pop up (with or without the radio being on) with the Beat Sonic + Aftermarket Headunit, you will need to add a switch for the antenna.
I would tell you which wires nee a switch, but I didn't install it myself. Sorry bud!

Thanks for the responses. I did have the installer correct the blue vs. blue/white wires and the antenna now only goes up when the H/U is on. When the H/U is turned off the antenna goes down.
