Default 2002 SC430 2JZ-GTE Twin Turbo 6 Speed Build Thread

I figured I will make this my main build thread. I will post periodic updates to the progress of the car to let everyone know.

I bought the shell with the blown motor in Houston, TX... I shipped the car straight to Kustomz Unlimited in the Dallas TX area to get my Accuair Air Ride and wheels fitted. (Thanks to Lycca for the TEIN CST hookup) They do great work and I would highly recommend them to anyone local or not local. Once my install here is done then I shall ship the car back to Atlanta and get it painted.

Once paint is done then we shall be bolting down the motor and hopefully get all the wiring done..

Started tearing down the motor yesterday. Pretty much have all the accessories removed. Still have to remove the crank pulley, cam gears, waterpump, camshafts and etc. Once done we will be taking the head off to a shop to get worked on.

Below is a quick video of me messing with Joe while he was highly focused and frustrated.. lol

You can find more build info for Joe and his cars at www.joedrifter.com

I do like the pearl white. This is suppose to me mine and the ladies car so I have to put some women touches to it or else my project budget will disappear

jeez!! I just did some calculations in my head and just realized how much I have already spent on this build and its no where near being complete..

still need wheels, tires, more motor parts, paint, and etc.

what have I gotten myself in to!!!!!!

Any sponsors want to step up and help out? I will make sure your well marketed!

I can only imagine! at least you can roll on those wheels and keep the color for a little and save up unless you get some sponsors which whould be awesome!

You might try Rishie at Auto RnD. He was looking to sponsor someone a while back. For AME wheels if I remember right. He might not still be looking, but it's worth a shot.
