FWIW
The car has a "thin" dealer maintenance history so it may have been serviced at independent shops or not. Since the owner took off the run flats and doesn't have a spare in the trunk could/may be an issue. It looks like it's lived in Florida, New Jersey and PA. Last dealer service over a year ago at 33k. Would want it inspected by a reliable Lexus dealer before making an offer. If it checks out mechanically offer 22 settle 24ish ...the economy ain't what it use to be. Also read through the sticky FAQ on buying a pre-owned SC430 in the thread index...there is a ton of info that can be used to negotiate with, even if it is a PB model.

It does already have the clear bra. The mileage really isn't that low at 42kmi. The 2005 will have Bluetooth.

In general it appears as though he has taken good care of this SC by putting on a clear bra, uses or has new floor mats (I assume they are OEM red mats) and put on some really good tires vs. low end tires, and even has an OEM car cover. I agree with VVTiBob, if possible have it inspected, or certainly give the owner a phone call and listen to his story of maintenance, driving habits, etc. It's a very nice looking car and worth some due diligence IMO. In this economy it's certainly worth making an offer so that you can buy a spare tire or kit, etc. Good luck!

Default I just bought my 05 SC430 PB with 41,239 miles

1 owner, full dealer service, all keys, books, etc. From a Boston area Porsche dealer asking $29885. Paid $25,945. With a new battery. 2 sets of mats, no paintwork always garaged.

For that price, I would just spend a little bit more and get this one:

I didn't run the vin but 19,085 miles

$5,000 is a little more? Spoke with seller and looks like I can buy it for around 26k. If its half as nice as the pics we may have a winner!
