I have a 2002 and we love it. I would like to update the mufflers and give it a litte more sound like my Vette had without too much sound. Anyone have any ideas of they have changed to?

search. theres plenty of topics on this. most are just replacing their mufflers with piping and it soudns great according to the youtube videos members have posted

i use a custom made system by Dr Gas.com
Had an X pipe place were the center cat. was, keeped the resonors and custom made Dr Gas muffers made. The sound is not loud, real nice, just right. like a nice sounding vett. when you punch it.

i recommend the Megan Racing exhaust system. You can get the test pipe, mid pipe and axle back system for about $900 shipped total from ebay. It's sounds great, get's rid of that delay when you punch the gas (better throttle response and acceleration) and well uh looks kickass. search you tube for a soundclip.

Some people have deleted the secondary muffler. They liked it. Some have done this plus the Injen intake, better sound.

Thanks everyone. When we return from Florida I am going to unbolt the muffler first and see how that sounds. If not too loud, I will get some pipes made up and leave the muffler off and run with just the resonators.
