Default Radio replacement

I would like to replace my radio in my 02 with a after market unit, with XM and iPod. I don't want a "science experiment". I know it's been done but it seems it's very messy and complicated. Has anyone done this successfully at BestBuy etc using readily available parts? For the price of an 06 -09 Lexus unit (it supports XM but not iPod.... The 2010 unit supports XM and iPod but you cannot do a "plug and play". It won't work.). I want the door to close over the unit without issues. I'd also like to replace the Antenna with a stubby or something. I don't want much do I

Thanks very much, Wayne

Beatsonic kit might be your solution.
