i was wondering the best place to buy coilovers and the best bang for the buck was? .. thinking about some megans.. still havent gotten the sc430 yet.. but i am gathering parts.. haha

Please do your research on the differences between the two. IMO the Street LP are the way to go for the extra $200 and flexibility with these great coilovers. I love them on mine. There are plenty of SC'ers reviews of both if you search.

In general, high $600's for the EZ's and high $800's for the Street LP's. Hope this helps.

thanks scdroptop! i was thinking about one of those too.. ill read around to see what the difference is.. im mostly concern with being low but still have a smooth non bumpy ride..

Tein cs ftw btw.. Megans dont have rubber pillow ball mounts. They can get clunky/noise going over road imperfections. Or go with BC coils. Its really not bad though. Worse when its wet out. But i only hear it when i have no music on in the mornings. I've owned megan and bc on my is. I shoulda went with bc again. But they ride different. Idk. I wish they would make a baby together.

what do you mean by its worst when its wet out? ... haha.. i wanted to buy yours so bad.. i think im gonna buy one local here.. black on black... then put a bunch of money into it.. to get the 06 + upgrades, lower, lip kit, wheels and call it a day.. haha how about you sell me your taillights and headlights.. haha.

Wet metal on metal is louder? Idk. Not a big deal. Thats just megan coils for you. Same problem on my IS and my friends IS on megans. I like how megans ride better. But the BC are more quiet cause of its rubber pillowball mounts

I bought BC from CircuitMS for my IS and the ride was way better than stock. No noise, easy install and adjustable dampening. I plan on going with BC again for my SC.

I just picked up a set of the Megan Megan EZ street coil-overs for my 02 SC430 from Tristan for a great price. Not sure how posting prices is looked upon on this forum. I have a shop and deal mostly with BMWs - even with my wholesale prices, I could not get a set of H&R springs and KYB struts (front and rear) for less than the deal I got from Tristan.
