Default Dealing With A Scratch

Someone seems to have rubbed up against my car and scratched the finish. They left about a 12 inch scratch that doesn't seem to go down to the metal but is apparent when you look at the door. Is there any way of dealing with this or am I best to just ignore it. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Depending on how bad the scratch is, you could try X-Scratch by Maguier's - $9.00. It works wonders on minor scratches! Hope that helps.

I had the exact same thing happen twice on my car from someone with jeans and the rivots (sp?) scratched the side at butt level and the other was from the cat, when he gets scared his back claws dig into my paint (I shot the cat last night).

I was mad as hell but took it to a Mercedes Benz dealer that has a body shop who has done great work with me in the past and he got rid of it 100% used a collection of different buffing and light wet sanding, and then more buffinghe really knows what he is doing, bottom line is if he can do it then others can. You don't have to live with it...Shop around and you'll be fine.
