Well I'm finally taking the plunge, I have been lusting after this car for over a year ever since I drove my brother's silver/saddle 2005. I found an absolutely gorgeous 2003 black/saddle and I plan to pick it up tomorrow. I hope I will have good luck with it, I'm pretty anxious about the maintenance or repair costs I may be looking at. Someone tell me I'm worrying over nothing. MM

Welcome. Lots of good info here in case your in depth pre-purchase due diligence wasn't enough and you still run into minor issues. You are probably worrying over nothing as these SC's have been pretty solid.

Thanks so much, mohrd, I needed to hear that. My husband is not exactly in favor of this purchase and whatever goes wrong is going to be a big fat "I told you so". LOL So I'm hoping nothing does. I will try to post pictures soon.

Welcome...i bought my 06 silver/black at Wilde Lexus-Sarasota...i consider mine as a flying carpet.ie i dont park it i land it...like many on this forum say...the car eventually owns you...happened to me...the manual suggests the car be kept in a "heated" garage... to me this is all worth the fun ...and i dont have heated garage...
