Default Key FOB question

My searches aren't yielding fruitful results. Does the SC430 even use a keyless FOB/engine push start like a GS350? If so, what year did it start?

EDIT: I've searched using google, but it seems to me that all the keys have a physical key for starting the car.

The SC430 does not use the push button start. All years use a key.

Aww thank you for the clarification. With that being said, I assume that the 2006 models versus 2010 models are nearly identical with no distinctive differences?

It depends on what you mean by "distinctive". Yes, there are differences but not a whole lot. AZKaty or SCDROPTOP probably will weigh in here with the expert knowledge (Katy - first hand, SC - research hound). The radio changes some and I think there are a few other minor changes. But there aren't many and nothing earth shattering.

I purchased a 2006 and debated the 2007 because that year started the knee air-bags. OTOH, it also started the smaller glove compartment to accomodate the knee air-bags.

when you say "bluetooth audio," does that mean syncing up with audio devices in addition to the cell phone BT sync?

2010 nav is ALOT better than previous years which was GEN3-GEN4, you can buy a sc430 with a Gen 2/3 and upgrade to Gen 4 but you can not upgrade to Gen6 (SC skipped Gen 5 which is what I have in my IS250). You can add aux with 160 bucks and a SLU unit thats plug and play on all models pre-2010. I guess it depends on what your needs are and what your budget is. The car from the outside looks the same.

That was taken right from the Lexus link I provided.

I got out my 2010 SC brochure and this is what is says:

"USB and auxiliary iPod/MP3/Windows Media Audio (WMA) port Bluetooth Technology

Bluetooth audio profile for wireless integration of compatible music players with in vehicle audio system controls."

I believe all it means is full iPod/MP3 integration for devices that are compatible.

I drove a 2010 IS250 not too long ago and it was fully integrated as well-showed tracks on the screen, etc.

Katy-can you confirm?

wow. The stuff that they come up with these days. My damn GS350 still has that ridiculously ancient tape deck.
