Default Fog light question

...I replaced a foglight bulb about 6 months ago and it seemed to be working fine, but i noticed today that both were out.I looked at the fuse and it seems to be okay. After looking through the manual,I only saw reference to 1 fog light fuse...so I was wondering if there might be another fuse associated with the fog lights or a fuse link, before I tackle replacing the bulbs ????

Your fog bulbs should last a long, long time. Something is up if your new one is out already. I'll bet your fuse is blown...sometimes it's hard to tell with poor lighting, etc. I usually replace the fuse for good measure just to eliminate the possibility and then move on-even if it doesn't look like it's blown. Keep us posted. Strange...

...hey SC which fog light bulbs did you recommend/switch to ??? I think I have something touching,I checked the fuse again and could see the break near the base,so figured problem solved. After replacing fuse, the new one blew also !!! Didn't have time to get under car and check out situation, but hoping maybe the bulb I replaced may have come loose and touching something under there to blow the fuses....know what I'll be doing in the next day or so

As soon as one fog light bulb goes out, I'm having the dealer drop the front bumper and replacing both with some real xenon 3000k yellow ones.

Now... I just have to wait for one of the bulbs to go out...

Why wait? DIY with out dropping bumper and you will save a lot of money. do a search for "replacing fog light bulb without removing bumper".
