Hi everyone, Jon from Maryland here! I've had my 2002 SC430 for close to 8 years now but never saw this post until now. I didn't know there was an introduction page and I didn't really have anything to contribute to the posts that I've read over the past. This is my second Lexus, first was a GS400, and I truly believe that Lexus makes the most reliable comfortable vehicle on the planet. This car has been my weekend seasonal driver as I've only averaged about 3,000 miles per year with it. A few other things I could mention are that it currently has 56k miles but bought it in 2012 with 30k miles (or somewhere around there) from a nice woman in the Long Island, NY area that took good care of it. It has black exterior and black interior, and the stock Mark Levinson Audio with the exception of Alpines in the doors. I've also spent the time and money on the Wald International Body kit, 21" Custom 3-piece COR Concord Wheels w/ Toyo Proxes. It's lowered with TEIN Lowering Springs -1.3" in the front, -1.6" in the rear to fill in the wheel wells. The inside of the wheel wells are shaved and everything fits nice and snug. The other addition that I felt was necessary is the updated front bumper to '06-'10 with updated '06-'10 headlights and taillights. Again, time and money, but it has been a great car and I felt these add-ons would make the car exactly what I had envisioned! I'll add a couple pics. Would love to know what you think!

Default Ohio girl

Hello all, just purchased a 2002 with 108K miles. Exterior is black with ecru interior. I sold my motorcycle last year and needed something to drive for the summer months.

I've been researching convertibles and decided on with a hardtop and after visiting the forums for the ones I was interested I started looking at the SC430 more based off the reviews I read and comments from this forum.

I still need to detail it but here's a pic. I know the wheels that are on it aren't for everyone but I like them. They came with the sale along with the original wheels. This was the 3rd one that I looked at and it had the best drive and service history.

Edit: I forgot to add that it came with the spare tire kit, I just need to find a spare tire. Also has the original manual with the Lexus pen still in the case and a first aid kit.
