I Just got fone installing my EZ's
Interesting enough, when you get the rear done and adjust the rear height along wth the damnening, these ***** do come off this is for those that will not be adjusting the dampening much, You can put a rubber cap over the top of the threaded part after removing the adjusting ****. This way you do not have to cut the holes in the liner. and the iner should fit nicely.
It took me three time's to adjust these darn tings. thank the heavens above i had access to a lift.
I cut a 1" hole in mine with a hole saw and currently looking for a remedy to cap it not to show so much when you open the rear.

The adjusment ***** do protrude about 3/8", but it looks realy clean like that.
For those wondering how I did it....
- remove the liner
- remove the old strut
- re-install the liner and mark the strut opening on the liner
through the wheel well with a felt pen.
- remove the liner
- install the new coilover
- using the mark on the inside of the liner, find the center and make a 1/2" hole.
- remove adjusting **** from the shock and re-install the liner.
- push and hold the adjustment **** in position thru the hole in the liner and using a sharpe bladed x-acto knife, cut around the ****.
- re-screw the adjustent **** in position... It will be necessary to reach under the liner...
- once all is back in place, trim liner carefuly if required.
Good luck!

My Megans are on the way from LSin75075 and the info in this post is going to be a great help. Poq's install pics and the details about the boot (trunk over there) liners will be very useful. All the info from scrdstr is amazing too.
You Guy's really know your stuff, so thanks one and all.

just wanna bring this up, I'm ready for a new set of Megan EZ or LP,
The EZ has spring rate of 12kg/mm F and 8kg/mm
The LP has spring rate of 9kg/mm F and 7kg/mm
does that mean the LP is less stiff then the EZ???
I want one gives softer ride while I can get a 2" drop....need to accompany wife need this time!!

EZ's will drop the car as much as you want (heaven too low)... I had to raise mine a bit after install because the center of my car was heavily grinding the asphalt of my sloped driveway... EZ's have 15 Levels of Adjustable Damper Strength, LP's have 32. EZ's are cheaper ($ wise), they will lower the car as much as you want and still give you a very comfortable ride. If you don’t plan to race your SC, I suggest you get a set of EZ’s, it’s IMO by far the best bang for the buck!

Anyone knows if these coilovers are fully threaded or partially threaded coilovers.
Here is an explanation of what the difference are

When i did my install I cut a circular hole (about 4-5 inches diameter) large enough to access all the bolts of the rear coilovers. Should i have to replace them i don't want to have to remove and replace the entire trunk liner again( thoughtless design) to access them. I then found a couple of 6" coasters at walmart and capped it off, then cut a 1" hole to access the adjustment ****. doesn't look too bad.

For another reference on how I did my EZ rear access ports in the trunk see this thread:
